The Pearl$ For Life Foundation evolved in 2011 from the work done with The Lady Legacy Foundation. During the summer of 2011 Ajshay N. James realized that her commitment to effecting financial  change, empowerment, volunteering, mentoring and community service deepened, but in a global sense.

The mission of the Pearl$ For Life Foundation is to provide women, young and young at heart, with financial education, empowerment and life skills development.

Our motto is “Poised with Pearl$ for Prosperity.”

Many young women in the community inadvertently fall into a state of financial distress as a result of lack of savings, over-extended credit, and high debt to income ratio, and fall victim to predatory lending and the inability to purchase a home. Young women need to be taught personal finance essentials to cultivate their financial pearl$ of wisdom in the now and beyondClient Population
